Now he is selling over a hundred thousand cases of Waiakea bottled water a year and that number keeps on increasing. Founder and chief executive officer, Ryan Emmons, also stated that he is proud to have helped deliver almost 500 million liters of clean drinking water to rural communities in Africa that lack access to clean water as well through his charitable initiative.
Specialty Food resorted that Waiakea water is a company that loves to give back to the community at large and help make the world a better place. Mr. Emmons has partnered with an organization called Pump Aid. This organization builds wells and water treatment facilities in rural and undeveloped places where clean water is a scarcity. Whenever Waiakea sells just one liter of water on the marketplace, Ryan Emmons helps Pump Aid deliver the equivalent of 650 liters of water to people that lack access to clean water around the globe.
This means that the manufacturing, packing and transportation process of Waiakea is essentially green and does not contribute carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
One of the ways that Waiakia Water has achieved its carbon neutral production classification is by harnessing renewable energy for its manufacturing and packing facilities. Its bottles are also made from former rPET bottles that have been recycled. This greatly cuts down on the energy needed to produce new plastic bottles.
According to Closet Samples, Waiakea Water is also a product that espouses good health. It is important to note that Waiakea spring water is not an accurate way to describe the brand. It is water that originates from the slops of the Mauna Laua Volcano. As the water travels down the volcano it picks up unique minerals that make it alkaline in composition and silky in texture. The alkaline composition and minerals such as silica are believed to have health boosting properties in addition to making the water taste great.
